The Sexual and Reproductive Health Services (SRHS) Grant is critical to improving access and carrying out high-quality, evidence-driven care. According to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), SRHS grant efforts were integrated into “the Minnesota Legislature in 1978 as Family Planning Special Projects (FPSP)”, and is supported by Minnesota statute 145.925, which affirms how sexual and reproductive health services impact the physical, social, and mental well-being of all people. Such services may include reproductive/sexual health counseling, screenings and treatment plans, contraception efforts, and more. The Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP) covers confidential family planning services and transportation costs for eligible low-income applicants. Coverage ranges from short-term to up to one year. To see if you qualify for this program, apply here.
